Ernst & Young is proud to announce the publication of the 2010 editions of its Worldwide Corporate Tax and VAT/GST guides, two popular annual handbooks providing quick technical reference to the corporate tax and VAT/GST regimes of many countries all over the world.

2010 Worldwide Corporate Tax Guide Drawing on the knowledge and experience of Ernst & Young’s tax professionals in 140 countries, the 2010 Worldwide Corporate Tax Guide is a key publication for international tax planning dealing with cross-border investments and provides an overview of the related corporate tax burden. The guide which includes the main local corporate tax rules such as the determination of trading income for tax purposes as well as treaty withholding tax rates of more than 140 countries is one of Ernst & Young's flagship technical tax publications.

2010 Worldwide VAT and GST Guide Thanks to the expertise and co-operation of Ernst & Young’s indirect tax professionals, the 2010 Worldwide VAT and GST Guide provides valuable insights on the most relevant indirect tax aspects to be followed by corporate management to facilitate their decision making process. The Guide covers the main topics of interest in indirect tax such as the scope of the tax, the tax liability, the applicable tax rates and tax points, as well as information on the VAT reporting obligations in more than 80 countries. The Guide also reflects changes contained in the EU VAT package, which are effective from 1 January 2010.
