The British Chamber Christmas Lunch
The event will commence with aperitifs which will be served from 12:00 and the opportunity to see the British Embassy exhibition, #LuxUKLinks, which celebrates the links between Luxembourg and the UK (see details below). This will be followed by a traditional Christmas three-course meal with wine. To continue the festivities there will again be a gin bar, generously sponsored by KPMG, at the end of the lunch.
In September 2016 the British Ambassador John Marshall started tweeting about links between Luxembourg and the UK using the hashtag #LuxUKLinks. Many of the links were historical. Others highlighted more recent economic, cultural and community links between our two countries. He soon realised that while our shared past may not be as consistently rich, intense and complex as Luxembourg’s historical relations with its neighbours, or with Austria and The Netherlands, the links between Luxembourg and the UK are nonetheless endlessly fascinating. Over the centuries momentous events and extraordinary individuals have brought our two countries together. This exhibition, entitled #LuxUKLinks, celebrates the links, whether well-known, obscure or light-hearted between Luxembourg and the UK and the excellence of our modern day relationship.
This event is generously sponsored by KPMG, and co-sponsors DO Recruitment Advisors have kindly donated the Christmas crackers; and Luxair have provided round trip tickets to London which will be drawn at the lunch.
Places are limited, and this event has become increasingly popular, therefore priority will be given to Members. You are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
The price, €75 for BCC Members and their guests and €90 for Non-Members, will include the aperitif, traditional Christmas three-course meal with wine, and coffee and gin bar. To book a table (for ten), please also complete the reservation form and inform the secretariat at email@example.com of the names and company names of your guests.
