The British Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with BSP, is pleased to invite you to an evening legal forum: "Points of attention when completing a workplace investigation” on Wednesday 09 October at 17:15 at BSP, 11, rue du Château d’Eau, L-3364 Leudelange.
As part of their responsibility as an employer, organisations have an interest in determining whether there is any factual basis for a complaint. Workplace investigations are indeed generally conducted in response to allegations of wrongdoing but also as part of due diligence before an organisational restructuring.
During this seminar, a legal expert from BSP will provide you with practical guidance on
• When to start an investigation and who should be involved;
• how to manage a workplace investigation process, including the gathering of
evidence and best practice to hold/preserve documents and data taking into
consideration the data protection legislation, the conservation of evidence in a
format that is admissible in court, making findings and preparing a report;
• What action can be undertaken by the employer during the investigation.
Guest Speaker from BSP:
• Anne Morel, Partner and Head of the Employment, Compensations & Benefits department
