The British Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite you to attend a lunch with Guest Speaker Claude Meisch, President of the Democratic Party.
He will be talking about Luxembourg and the sovereign debt crisis and discussing what can be learned from the cases of Greece and other countries of Southern Europe along with what the European Union can learn from the Grand-Duchy.
Claude has a Masters degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Trier. He has been a member of the Luxembourg Parliament since 1999. In October 2004 he was elected President of the Democratic Party and since December 2011 he has been the President of the Democratic Party group in Parliament. Since 2002 Claude has held the position as mayor of the city of Differdange.
He was born in 1971 and is married with two children.
