5.40 - 6.00 pm: Trends in the Luxembourg e-Services industry
Speakers: Gilles Vanderweyen, Partner PwC Luxembourg Jean Diederich, APSI President
PwC Luxembourg, in partnership with LU-CIX, has launched an initiative called "Luxembourg an electronically supplied services centre in the horizon 2012 – 2020". This initiative aims at analyzing, through workshops, Luxembourg’s current positioning in the e-services industry in Europe and developing an action plan to make our country a place of choice for such services in the horizon 2012-2020. Gilles Vanderweyen will present the project and some identified trends in the e-services industry. Jean Diederich will then present the APSI input to this initiative.
6.00 - 6.20 pm: Opportunities in the multimedia sector
Speaker: Mr Uwe Schnepf, Director of nacamar
nacamar is a German firm offering hosting and streaming services for audio and video content as well as multimedia services. The objective of this presentation is to show concrete opportunities in the development of e-services in Luxembourg. The speaker will give his own experiences of media trends and the "to do’s" to make Luxembourg a place of choice for e-services.
6.20 - 7.00 pm: Round table on lessons learned from e-services providers

Participants include: - Gilles Vanderweyen, Partner PwC Luxembourg, specialist of the ICT sector - Frédéric Foeteler, Sales director, Luxtrust - Rick Minor, Former CEO, AOL Europe Services
The objective is to give a concrete experience of the development of e-services in Luxembourg. Is Luxembourg attractive enough? The participants will share their own experience of Luxembourg as a place of choice for e-services.
