The Luxembourg Freeport (LFP) is an ultra-modern logistics hub and contemporary facility for storage, handling and trading of valuable goods such as works of art, precious metals, wine, jewellery, archives and precious documents (including electronic documents). The 4 storey facility is 21,000m2and is being constructed on a strategic and prime location at the Luxembourg airport next to the Air Cargo Terminal, which is the 5th largest air cargo hub in Europe. The LFP is expected to be operational in September 2014.
This is a unique opportunity to have a guided visit of the facility prior to the official opening in September 2014 and will be followed by a lunch at the Golf Club Grand Ducal, Senningerberg.
This event is for BCC members only, and places are extremely limited.
We will be meeting at 11.15 at the Luxembourg Freeport site, (Autoroute A1, exit 10 "CARGO Center," follow the red sign marked Chantier Feeport) for the guided tour. Please note ID card is required and solid footwear must be worn. The cost of the event is: BCC Members Euros 35 which will be invoiced prior to event.
