About this event

The British Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite members and guests to its first interactive, online networking event: What is the future of the world “Beyond COVID-19”? This will take place on Wednesday 13 May from 17.00 to 18.00.

Many experts are asking themselves “Will there be radical business and consumer change or simply an acceleration of change that was already underway?”

As many industries “gear up” from the lockdown this is an opportunity for you to hear video contributions from thought leaders including Minister for the Economy Franz Fayot, while discussing the big issues with other professionals, about what changes are coming and how we can best prepare for them.

Topics include:

  • How long will the forthcoming recession last?
  • In which industries will forthcoming disruption cause opportunity?
  • Is data the new oil, if yes how can we exploit this?
  • Can we afford to go green? Can we afford not to go green?
  • Will some sectors such as transport ever recover?

This is an interactive online networking session, with places limited to just 100 registrants.

You will have several opportunities to participate in break out groups to discuss the material and reconnect with colleagues that you have not met in recent months.

We look forward to seeing you online!
