The British Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite you to attend a lunch with Guest Speaker Dr. James Busuttil, Director, University of London LLM for External students who will be speaking on the subject, “Postgraduate Law Studies from the University of London by Distance Learning: not only for lawyers!"
Since receiving a special Royal Charter in 1858, the University of London has offered many of its programs to people who could not study full time in London. The University offers the same degrees to all its students, taught to and examined at the same standard, whether studied in London or learned at a distance. Since 1925 the University has offered a Masters of Law (LLM) degree to distance students. This Postgraduate Law program is open to non-lawyers.
Dr. Busuttil is the Director of the Postgraduate Law Program for International Students of the University of London, with over 3,000 students in 150 countries. He is a member of the law faculties of University College London and Queen Mary, University of London, he has been Professor of International Law and Organisation; a Member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague and he is admitted to practice law in New York State.
We shall be meeting at 12:00 noon, and lunching at 12:30, at
