The British Chamber of Commerce People and Leadership Group is pleased to invite you to join us for this year's final breakfast workshop: “Workplace of the Future:The Science of Possibilities - Positive Psychology for the Organisational and Individual Growth" with guest speaker Prof Dr Michaela Brohm-Badry, Trier University. This will take place on Wednesday 04 December 2019 at House17, 17 Rue du Nord, Luxembourg at 08:30.
Positive Psychology for Organizational and Individual Growth
How to bridge the gap between economic facts and their employees’ needs as human beings is one of the big challenges that organisations are facing today and in the future. It is no secret that today’s organisations need to focus not only on the bottom line but also on employee wellbeing.
But how can organisations move beyond offering relaxation exercises and free fruit?
Join us for this year’s final “Workplace of the Future” workshop to find out how Positive Psychology enables individuals, organisations and societies to best develop and flourish.
Positive Psychology scientifically studies psychological well-being, cultivation of best practices and resources, and applying the potential of people for a best possible life. Topics such as achievement, flow, meaning, emotions, character strengths and motivation lead to fascinating areas of human existence and positive leadership.
In this interactive session, basic research findings of positive psychology and accompanying interventions will be presented and explored. We are thrilled to have a leading expert from Germany to share her knowledge on cultivating a fulfilled life.
Prof. Dr. Michaela Brohm-Badry is Professor for Learning and Instruction and Dean of the Faculty of Education, Philosophy and Psychology at the University of Trier.
