PwC Luxembourg’s 2021 barometer on management companies (ManCos) is just released and the results remain positive with significant growth in AuM to 4,158 (in billion Euros) of Luxembourg ManCos, a rise of 4%, which is especially impressive considering in 2019 a growth of 4.5% was noted at the time as the highest level ever reached. While the number of ManCos and Super ManCos stayed relatively stable, this is mostly due to the number and size of Mergers & Acquisitions in the sector, making 2020 a year of AuM growth and consolidation.
