The British Chamber of Commerce for Luxembourg is pleased to invite you to an Evening Business Forum on "Commercial Considerations of Social Networks" along with our fourth annual Members' Trade Fair on Wednesday 12th October, 2011 at BGL Banque, Monterey Agency. (Entrance: corner Bd. Royal and rue Notre Dame, Parking available at 26 Bd. Royal).

Her Excellency the British Ambassador to Luxembourg, The Honourable Alice Walpole, will open the event.Neil Ward, General Manager Business Operations at Skype will present on "To Engage or not to Engage"; a review of the incredible breadth and growth in social networking used by companies, using an entertaining mix of Skype and other Companies case studies to highlight key and strategic lessons in the use of this media. The evening will be moderated by Daniel Eischen, CEO of Interact, who will chair a panel discussion  with Albert Moro, Lawyer & Partner, Clifford Chance, Luxembourg;  Flavio Abreu Da Costa, Chargé de Communication Internet,  BGL BNP Paribas and Patric De Waha, Founder & CEO, ZAP.LU and followed by a Q & A session.
 
Combined with the forum there will be a Members' Fair, at which Chamber members will have stands presenting their businesses.  In this way we bring together key players and facilitate communication about the issues and action to resolve them.

17.00 - Doors open for Exhibitors to prepare stands
17.30 - Doors are open to the public
18.00 - 18.15 Welcome address by the British Ambassador.
18.30 - 19.30 Speakers and roundtable discussion with Questions & Answers
19.30  - 22.00 Members' Trade Fair & Networking cocktail   
 

TO BCC MEMBERS ONLY

The Trade Fair is an initiative by us to provide you with an opportunity to exhibit your company or business to the public combined with the Forum.  The objective is to offer visibility to companies and individuals who are members of the British Chamber of Commerce for Luxembourg to the general public.

Space and a table with two chairs will be provided to the participating BCC members.  Exhibiting members will be invited to display their products, brochures and advertising material on their stands. This event will give you the opportunity to let people know what products and services you offer.

There is no fee for exhibiting (two persons per stand) at this event but there will be a penalty charge of Euros 75 for no shows.  SPACE IS LIMITED SO PLEASE RESPOND TO THE SECRETARIAT email: mail@bcc.lu AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IF YOU WISH TO HAVE A STAND.

The cost of attending this event for non-exhibitors is €25 to Members and €35 to Non-Members payable in cash at the door.  Please note cancellations must be received in writing no later than Noon Monday 10th October 2011.
WHERE NO WRITTEN CANCELLATION IS RECEIVED WE REGRET WE WILL HAVE TO CHARGE FOR THE COST OF THE EVENT.
