There are seven BCC groups – six business sector groups, and a Membership Development Group. The sector groups address key business issues in their sectors within their relevance to the BCC’s community. This is achieved through the organization of events to debate these issues and facilitate networking opportunities within the community, and engage with the community prior to and following such events. These events usually take the form of evening forums, featuring expert speakers and a panel.
The Business & Innovation Group represents the entrepreneurial think tank of the BCC. Its aims are to help businesses navigate through technological and organisational change in order to identify opportunities that will give them sustainable perspectives of growth and diversification.
Financial Services Group deals with matters which are of interest to the Luxembourg financial services community and focuses on the asset management, insurance and banking sectors.
The People and Leadership Group is passionate about people & leadership topics and serves the British Chamber of Commerce community by providing valuable insights to help organisations succeed and by creating opportunities to share experiences, exchange knowledge and learn together.
The role of the Legal Group, which is made up of experienced lawyers in a variety of legal fields, is to provide benefit and value to the members of the Chamber from a legal perspective.”
The Tax Group of the BCC aims to keep the English-speaking business community of Luxembourg up to date with changes in Luxembourg taxation for both individuals and companies. Renowned, experienced and unashamedly pro-active Corporate Tax, Personal Tax and VAT/Customs specialists proudly represent the Tax Group, and address important tax issues impacting the community in regular events throughout the year.
Membership Development Group is responsible for identifying and attracting new members, retaining existing members and proposing initiatives related to member benefits.
Sustainability Group: Providing a Stepping Stone towards a Sustainable Business – The BCC is very pleased to announce the launch of a new working group dedicated to sustainability in business. We want to help future-proof the businesses of our members by promoting sustainability, connecting our members to facilitate conversations about sustainability and to share topical information on sustainable business practices.
