About this event

The British Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with St George’s International School, is delighted to invite you to an upcoming event: "COP28 Warm-up," to bring together industry experts, businesses and education to discuss hopes and cautions for progress at COP28 in December 2023. This will take place on Wednesday 15 November from 18:30 to 20:00 at St George's International School.

Guest speaker Dr Andrew Ferrone, Head of the Meteorological Department at ASTA, Luxembourg, will share his experiences from previous COPs. He will also discuss EU hopes for a strong outcome from COP28, following his participation at the July UN Climate Change conference in Bonn, Germany.

Audience members will then be able to pose questions to a panel including Dr Andrew Ferrone and Dr Claudia Hitaj, advisor from the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development, regarding COP28, beyond and thoughts for sustainability in business.

The British Chamber wishes to thank St George's International School for generously hosting this event in its premises.

The evening will begin at 18:30 with registration. The conference is scheduled to begin promptly at 18:45.  To close the evening drinks and nibbles will be provided and, as always, the opportunity to meet and discuss with your fellow Chamber Members and guests.

This event is for BCC Members & guests and is FREE of charge.
