On 12 December, over 265 members and guests gathered at the Hemicycle for the British Chamber’s much-anticipated Annual Christmas Lunch. Sponsored by HSBC Luxembourg, Aztec Group, KPMG Luxembourg, and DO Recruitment, the event was a wonderful celebration of the festive season and the vibrant business community. The lunch featured a special address by H.E. Joanne Olivier, who shared her insights and festive greetings with attendees. Adding to the festive atmosphere, the talented St George’s School Choir performed a selection of seasonal favourites, delighting the crowd with their joyful renditions.

Corporate and institutional banking in Luxembourg recorded solid results in 2024, with sector revenues reaching €6.5 bn and net profits amounting to €2.8 bn. These results, detailed in the newly released Corporate & Institutional Banking Survey 2025 by PwC Luxembourg and Association des Banques et Banquiers Luxembourg (ABBL), underline the sector’s remarkable resilience and positions the sector on a solid footing to help meet the economic challenges facing our continent.
