Luxembourg Stock Exchange

The Luxembourg Stock Exchange began its activities in 1929. Since it listed the first Eurobond in 1963 it has managed to develop considerable experience in the field of listing securities of a highly varied nature and geographical origin. Today, the Luxembourg Stock Exchange lists more than 36,000 securities (including 27,000 bonds and 6,000 undertakings for collective investment) from more than 4,100 issuers in more than 100 countries around the world. In November 2000, the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and Euronext signed an agreement on mutual recognition of their members and reciprocal access to their markets. The Exchange’s portal, www.bourse.lu, provides the private investor with convenient access to market information on Luxembourg securities.
