This weekend, the Optimists Cricket Club celebrate their 50th anniversary and as part of the festivities, have a match organised on Sunday 7th June that you are welcome to attend. Legends of cricket, Lord Ian Botham and Matthew Hoggard will be in attendance, and Monty Panesar will be playing for the Optimists XI as they take on the MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club) at the Pierre Werner Cricket Ground in Walferdange. The match starts from 13:00 and there will be food and drinks available for sale all afternoon. You will be very welcomed, and it is a very family friendly environment.
